USA Water Polo
"USA Water Polo" is the national governing body for water polo in the United States and a member of the U.S. Olympic Committee. The USAWP website contains a wealth of information about national and regional events, development, rules, and other useful information. Membership in USAWP is not a requirement for membership in OWPRA.
Water Polo Academy
In partnership with USA Water Polo, Water Polo Academy brings "the most complete water polo referee training available right into your computer." Water Polo Academy offers "an easy-to-use online classroom complete with reading, video and discussion materials," and "experienced instructors leading discussions and answering questions."
Collegiate Water Polo Association
The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) began in the 1970's as the Mid Atlantic Conference and included teams from Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York. "Today the CWPA is the largest water polo conference in the country with teams in 75% of the states nationwide. Including both intercollegiate varsity competition and club competition, it stands as the only conference of this type. Due to its breadth and influence, the conference plays a pivotal role in the sport of water polo today, which will only increase in the future as it continues to grow" (CWPA web site).
National Association of Sports Officials
The National Association of Sports Officials (NASO) offers liability insurance for officials in all sports.
